A couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend and I spent a wonderful day in Milan. If you never been there, I really suggest you to go and visit this city. Stereotypes make Milan cold and gloomy, but it isn't true at all: it's a beautiful city, and in sunny spring days does its best.
Un paio di settimane fa io e il mio ragazzo ci siamo regalati una giornata a Milano. Per chi non la conoscesse, consiglio davvero di visitarla. Gli stereotipi fanno questa città fredda e spenta, ma non è così: Milano è una città splendida da visitare, e in una giornata primaverile di sole dà il meglio di sé.

Actually, we don't go to Milan that often, although we don't live that far away. But every time we go, we always have lunch at Luini's bakery, which is famous for making delicious panzerotti, located in the very centre of Milan, nearby Duomo and La Scala Theatre. During the weekend it's always overcrowded and you have to wait a bit on queue to get your panzerotti, but it's all worth. Their panzerotti are amazing, hot, crispy outside and soft inside.
Nonostante non abitiamo così distanti, non andiamo a Milano molto spesso. Ogni volta facciamo tappa fissa al forno Luini, celebre per i suoi panzerotti, situato in centrissimo ad un passo dal Duomo e piazza della Scala. Nel weekend c'è fila a qualsiasi ora del giorno, ma i panzerotti sono qualcosa di unico. Caldi, croccanti fuori e teneri dentro.

If you are confused, you are right: panzerotti are not from Northern Italy, but this bakery is absolutely a must. If I have to point out a defect, I would say that it's only take-away and you can't sit to enjoy your meal, but it's not a big deal beacause you can sit on Duomo stairs if the weather is sunny and warm. And you'll get a special meal in special location.
Sono ben consapevole che il panzerotto non sia proprio il piatto lombardo per eccellenza, ma questo posto è assolutamente da provare. L'unica pecca è che non ha posti a sedere, ma data la vicinanza al Duomo, ci si può sedere sulle scalinate e godersi il pasto in una location molto speciale.
