Nel post precedente ho raccontato di una giornata passata a zonzo per il centro di Milano. Devo ammettere che non ho solo mangiato panzerotti, ma ho anche commesso un "delitto" nello shopping. Era da qualche anno che la cercavo, e finalmente ho trovato quello che fa al caso mio.
In the previous post I wrote about a day spent in the city of Milan. I must admit, I didn't eat panzerotti all the time, but I also commited a shopping "crime".
It's been quite a long time since I started looking for it, and finally I found something just right for me.
I'm talking about a new tote bag, here I am, I slipped into this trend. The first successful tote has been the Louis Vuitton's Neverfull, and after this style many designers have been proposing their version. Three keys words: spacious, practical and simple. But for me, so far, all these proposals had a lack: I wanted a zip to close my bag on top. This would mean to have an adaptable bag for many occasions, even for travelling.
Sto parlando di una borsa tote, ebbene sì, anche io sono cascata nel vortice. Dal lancio della celebre Neverfull di Louis Vuitton, l'ascesa è stata indomabile e sempre più stilisti hanno proposto la loro versione di borsa a spalla. Le tre parole d'ordine sono capienza, praticità e semplicità. Ma tutte le proposte che avevo finora avevano un difetto per me, ovvero la chiusura: io volevo una borsa così ma con la cerniera. Una borsa versatile in tutte le occasioni, e anche molto comoda per viaggiare.
I had found some interesting item in Gucci's collectinos, but honestly they were all out of budget. I wished for something as well-made as cheaper. A couple of years ago, I also spotted the Michael Kors's shopper, but it had a sort of lock to close the bag and nothing more, like the Neverfull bag.
Avevo trovato qualche proposta interessante nelle collezioni di Gucci, ma francamente i loro accessori sono fuori budget per me. Cercavo qualcosa di ben fatto ma più economico. Un paio di anni fa, tra le altre, avevo preso in considerazione anche la shopper di Michael Kors, ma, proprio come la Neverfull, aveva una chiusura del tutto simbolica.
And, at last, here we are in Milan. While we had a walk near the Duomo, I saw the Michael Kors shop and I went in. And, to my big surprise, their shopper has become -as they name it- a multifunction bag. This mean that the bag has a lot of pockets in different dimensions and, most of all, a big reinforced pocket to store the laptop which is actually a big comparment with a zip.
So finally I found something that could satisfy what I was looking for! I had liked the bag from the first time I had seen it, a simple line and a good manufacturing, and now this big section actually makes the difference for me!
Actually, I must say that this comparment is exactly in centre of the bag and reduces its whole capacity, even though there's still a lot of room and, indeed, the bag is much more practical with this big and safe section.
E poi, arriviamo alla giornata a Milano. Girovagando tra i negozi, entro proprio da Michael Kors e vedo che la loro shopper è diventata -come la chiamano loro- una multifunction. Questo nella pratica significa un numero infinito di tasche e accessori all'interno, ma soprattutto una bella tasca grande centrale per il portatile (addirittura rinforzata); di fatto si tratta di uno scomparto vero e proprio, chiudibile grazie allo zip.
Ecco allora il compromesso che cercavo! La borsa esteticamente mi è sempre piaciuta, semplice, linee pulite e un buon pellame, e con l'aggiunta dello scomparto ho proprio quello che desideravo!
Sicuramente questa sezione posizionara centralmente riduce la capienza della borsa nel complesso, ma rimane comunque una borsa molto spaziosa e preferisco avere la possibilità di contenere le mie cose senza correre il rischio di perderle.
