Preferito del mese: novembre 2013.

Today I would like to start a new series posts about the favourite item of the month. Nothing special, actually, on youtube for example you can find lots of videos about this on beauty vlogger's channels. But I enjoy reading or watching videos about favourites, that's why I'd like to bring my contribution.
November's favourite is this flour called Granulated Durum Wheat Flour (Semolato Semintegrale di Grano Duro) made by Antico Molino Rosso (I found out you can shop online on their website), which I used a lot for all my doughs: bread, pizza, ecc.
I bought it by chance as it had a temporary special price, in a supermarket called Natusì (which sells biological products).

I must say that I like durum wheat's taste, and I won't advice the purchase to those who don't like it instead. The taste of whole wheat is much stronger than usual. I never used flours like this one before, but I've really been enjoying it! This flavor reminds the typical durum wheat one, of course, but richer and fuller!
I suggest to mix this ingredient with more classic wheat, it helps to enrich flavor to your doughs and meanwhile reduce the amount of salt, they will be tastier just with the right mixture.
